The Parvin State Park Appreciation Committee, Inc. announces the return of “First Walk Hike” at Parvin State Park on Tuesday, January 1 beginning promptly at 1pm!
Join us at Fisheman’s Landing, 915 Parvin Mill Road, for a two hour walk along a two mile length of Thundergust Lake trail and return while imagining how things were 90 years ago.
Come out and enjoy an easy, pet friendly walk with family and friends, wear sturdy footwear and weather appropriate clothing along with water, snacks, cameras and binoculars. Be prepared though, there are no restrooms available at the Park during this walk.
What a great way to enjoy a real “gem” of Pittsgrove Township, experience some great scenery and gain an insight into the history that has continually made Parvin State Park an important piece of the local heritage!
It is requested that reservations be made in advance by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org so appropriate arrangements for tours can be made.
For more information, please follow us on Facebook, Twitter, or email@example.com. If this event needs to be cancelled due to weather, it will be announced on the above sites as well!
