This fall festival is Meals on Wheels’ largest fundraising event of the year. The event features more than 60 giant pumpkins which volunteers, both professional and amateur, carve into works of art for the public to enjoy, and vote on the winners. Contests, pony & hayrides, food trucks and much, much more for you to explore at this Best of Salem County Event!

Location: Parvin State Park – 789 Parvins Mill Rd, Elmer, NJ 08318-4009

The hayride will start at Thundergust Picnic Area and will drop you off for a short walk through the woods and back to the staff by haywagon.

All this for just $5 per person. Volunteers are needed to help with the event.

Travel with us to 1795 and enjoy our directors ingenious tale of the dark October nights of Tarrytown. Katrina, looking for romance and marriage has engaged herself with perhaps the wrong man? Gretchen, her sister has just the idea to handle Mr. Ichabod Crane. And who or what is that in the woods? Did you see his face? NO! There was no head! But still somehow a man on a horse. Come, laugh, wonder, feel the chills that only The Legend of Sleepy Hollow will accord.
