The Salem County Board of Chosen Freeholders is pleased to announce that the New Jersey Department of State has awarded the County two grants for Salem County arts and history projects in 2017. These grants are administered through the Cultural & Heritage Commission.
Grants are available to non-profit organizations, educational organizations, schools and libraries. You don’t have to be a history organization to apply for a history grant, just an organization with a Salem County history project for 2017. If you are part of an organization looking to execute an arts program or event in Salem County in 2017, your organization is eligible to apply. Workshops will be held on September 8 at the Ware Agricultural Office Complex, 51 Cheney Road, in Woodstown. The Arts Grant Workshop will be at 6 PM and the History Grant Workshop will follow at 7 PM.
All Grant Applications are due by September 22, 2016.
To register for a workshop, to receive a grant application, or for more information please contact Kathy Mills at firstname.lastname@example.org or 856-935-7510.
